Samsung have been going on for a long time now about just how popular the Samsung Galaxy S3 is and how many of them they have sold but what happens when you send a team of Android geeks to the streets of Manchester and film them trying to give away Samsung Galaxy S3 Cases for Free?
Well the answer is simple but I will not spoil it for you, take a look at the two videos below and prepare to be astounded.
The Android event March of the Droid’s saw Proporta give 100 “Specsy and you know it” Galaxy s3 cases to give away however given that very few of the attendees had the S3, the team decided that they would hit the streets and see who really was “Specsy”
As you seen, the team also tried to give away some mugs and Galaxy Note II cases however they were pretty un-successful on that front too which makes you raise the question, just how many Samsung Galaxy S3’s are in the UK now what has happened to the numbers being quoted by Samsung as from what the videos showed , the popular handset on the streets of Manchester what Samsung’s arch rival, the Apple iPhone.
For me, Samsung’s biggest problem is the fact that they have so many variants of the same handset on the market, there is the S3, the S3 LTE and the S3 mini, all of which are running the same version of OS now and just cost slightly different Perhaps what made Samsung a sucess is also what could make them fail in years to come but again, I am speculating and who know’s what Samsung’s future holds.
Being honest these guys would have been better staying at home and playing partybingo.com where they may have had more luck!
