When we first received information on the HTC M4 and seen specs we were a little bit skeptical thinking this might be a fake. Courtesy of @evleaks though, we can now tell it’s looking good, maybe not a fake after all. After the rave reviews of the One, HTC looks to be sharing its style tips around. Having a quick glance at the M4 it appears almost identical to the HTC One, but looking closer you will see the camera flash has been turned 90० so it’s now above the camera lens. There also appears to be less micro-drilled speaker holes. Looking over the leaked specs, see picture,
you can expect a smaller 4.3-inch screen at 720p resolution and possibly a cheaper build to the unibody beauty that leads HTC’s smartphone family. We’re not sure of the processor but it’s likely to be a dual-core processor, LTE-capable radio. There’s better news, with the Ultrapixel-packing 4-megapixel camera sensor rumored to make its way into the middleweight phone, although initial leaks pointed to a 13-megapixel sensor. We believe the M4 will appear later possibly in August/September time, but we’re still waiting on HTC releasing details, not forgetting the price. So maybe HTC are taking a leaf out of Samsung’s book, by making a little brother of the One after all it worked for Samsung.
