The Marmite of Linux desktop environments today updated their latest release to version 3.8. The release brings many new and improved settings and features, not least a new classic mode for a mode Gnome 2.3 look and feel. There is also a new application launch view which has been designed to improve finding applications and a new search view wich brings greater control over search results.
As you can see from the above image the application launcher now includes sub-folders with a very mobile OS look and feel. Below is the new search view, a marked contrast from the search view of old.
