The long awaited, much anticipated Motorola Droid Bionic appears to be having a little memory issue that has got many US Android users in a caps lock rage.
The issue appears to be how the internal memory is partitioned with the advertised 16GB internal memory being divided into three parts. The first partition is 3.5GB dedicated solely to “application storage” (the default install location for downloaded apps), next is 8GB classified as “internal storage” which is used for media such as music, movies & photo’s. The remaining internal memory is reserved for the Android operating system.
It isn’t all bad news though as the Droid Bionic comes bundled with a 16GB memory card giving you approximately 27.5GB of storage to play with, which to be honest isn’t too shabby.
