Apple has released iOS 6.1 to users worldwide.
Changes in this update include Siri movie tickets, individual song downloading in iTunes Match and a few others.
The lock screen music controls have received a visual overhaul also.
The update is available OTA and via iTunes now.
This should also mean that the upcoming Jailbreak will be imminent as mentioned in a post earlier this week. The developers of the Jailbreak have been waiting for the public release to prevent Apple from patching the exploit.
Apple issued a Press Release for the update which also contained the information that the App Store now contains 800,000 apps in total, 300,000 of which are native iPad apps.
