Samsung is looking to make a big splash into the market of cheap sub-$300 Android tablets. First we had the Kindle Fire which was a huge success now we are hearing of the Nexus tab which will be in the $200 price range, and finally we have Samsung. Samsung is debuting their $250 Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7” on April 22nd in the states. The device will run Android 4.0 and be packing a TI OMAP 4430 processor.
Alone with the 7” version the 10” version will be launching on May 13th for $400. The same day as the 10” version the new Galaxy Player 4.2 WiFi –only device will launch. The device is a 1GHz device with Android 2.3.
Looking like it’s going to be a big couple next months for Samsung especially if we see the Galaxy S III soon.
