It’s a never ending barrage of rumours when it comes to the SIII and today was no different as several stories were posted across the web so let me quickly summarise what’s been happening.
Amazon Germany were the first ones off the mark when they published the Samsung Galaxy S3 to pre-order on there site as well as listing specs but no image of the handset itself.
Listing the device at 599.00 Euros with free delivery seemed about right and the specs listed didn’t seem too far off the mark either from previous rumours.
The next one up was Android Central who reported that Samsung Denmark, via their official Facebook page were teasing a new device hidden under a blue blanket with the letters + 12.05.03 – 20.00 upon it.
Now, we know that the device has a worldwide launch in London on that date (which we will be attending) and that again, given past rumours, the leaks we had seen of the device was hardware in another shell as the device under the blanket looked closer to the Galaxy Nexus than any other device however it was also questioned what the + meant on the blanket which leads us to our next rumour.
The Verge reported that Samsung Could be launching S-Cloud at the very same event.
Maeil Business says it’s similar to iCloud but without any limitations on the type of content you can upload. It is also expected to ship with access to popular TV shows, movies, and music with free and paid content that will be available across a range of Samsung devices, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Storage is rumored to be "more than 5GB," but it’s not clear whether that’s down to paid offerings.
So, exactly what is planned at the event is still very much unknown and we can continue to expect rumours to fly before we get there but for now, I’m undecided in if I like what I see so far, what’s your thoughts?
