The case between Oracle vs Google is actually going in the right direction in terms of freedom and protecting Android. Even some interesting things have arisen from this case, that we’ll go through, but it seems Google is in the clear!
Judge William Alsup can program. Yup, that’s right he learnt Java in order to help him judge fairly on this case as he demonstrated when Orcale said a short range-checking function was “days of work” (yeah, if they’ve got monkeys working for them) when in fact the Judge knew this was a pitiful lie, and said “I can do it. You can do it. It’s so simple” and claiming it takes 5 minutes, which I can imagine it does.
Also, he’s said that Oracle are basically coming up with stupid excuses, and they just don’t have a leg to stand on.
So, the legal system can work extremely fairly if the courtroom knows what it’s talking about
