As you may or may not know, Google and Oracle have been going at it for some time. This lawsuit is rendering a plethora of “behind the scenes” information for Google’s Android UI. A variety of things have been revealed including the 2006 render for the Google Phone, revenue numbers for Android and more. The picture above is an image of Google’s first tablet UI. The designs for these tablets seem to resemble Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich themes. On the bottom left corner, those icons seem to resemble the Gtalk, Calendar and Gmail applications. It’s hard to tell whether they are quick navigation buttons or notifications. I personally like the bubbly look of this UI, it looks more user friendly. Would you rather have your Android tablet’s UI the way it is, or do you think Google had it right the first time?
