AppBrain the alternative Android Market has today launched something called AppBrain Streams. A new feature on their popular alternative Market that will broaden your app discovery and get you sharing, that is what they hope anyway.
AppBrain Streams is a personalized feed of application-related news and information. Fill it with application game related events, reviews, recommendations, updates and many more.
It will come also filled with information about what your AppBrain buddies are up to when they install and uninstall an app. It provides you with a detailed personalized list of everything that goes on with who you follow and what you specify.
Also another feature of Streams is the ability to give reviews and follow specific app reviewers so that you can see what apps they like and don’t, posting and following discussions about apps is also their, along with it being able to give you announcements about apps you already have installed.
AppBrain Streams is making app sharing more social network friendly as well which is great. It’s allowing users to comment, like or share any post or app in their stream, Facebook and Twitter accounts can now be linked to AppBrain also, so you can follow friends who use both sites and check up on every social network.
According to AppBrain, the company is looking to “bring social app discovery to the next level” with this launch.
It’s sounding quite useful already for bloggers especially, but also the app crazy Android users out there who like to interact and keep up with everything that happens in the Android Market.
I’ll be checking it out will you?.
