The Google Music store that everyone has been talking about seems to be coming true and closer to a launch. According the the Wall Street Journal we may see this music store launch as soon as the end of this week. Rubin confirmed in statements during his appears at the AsiaD conference last week that a digital download store would be launching soon, adding that a twist could be expected.
The twist is suppose to be Google+ sharing. How this would work is a circle of people from Google+ could all purchase a song and have a limited number of listens within the circle.
Many major labels will be in on this with Google, but some like Sony and Warner are afraid of the privacy that comes along with cloud storage. Google is reaching out to many independent labels as some major labels companies will not join them.
