Microsoft CEO and long time Android hater, went out of his way today at the Web 2.0 conference in the UK to say:
you don’t need to be a computer scientist to use a Windows phone and you do to use and Android phone…It is hard for me to be excited about the Android phones.
A computer scientist is a scientist who has acquired knowledge of computer science, the study of the theoretical foundations of information and computation and their application in computer systems. Most computer scientists are required to possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science,Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline. For some positions, a bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field may be adequate. A strong aptitude for math is important for a computer scientist.
I would like to say I’m only 15 and math isn’t my strongest subject, I am able to operate an Android phone. I can use the basic functions, as well as the more complicated functions like rooting, and flashing.
So basically, Steve you sound like a fool, anyone can use an Android phone, and telling people that you need to be a computer scientist to use Android will not change peoples opinions once they get their hands on an Android phone and try it out for themselves.
