When you first open the app you can sign in, or try it now without signing in. After that you are greeted with the activity page. Where you can see what you’re friends or random people are watching. What is nice is if you see something you like and it has a green marking in the top right corner, that means it is live right now and you can watch it with your friend.
You can also see what is the most popular thing being watched by people signed into the app. You can sort it by the last 24 hours, last week, last month, and so on. It will tell you how many people watched or are watching each show.
On you’re profile it will show you what you last watched, recently watched shows, most watched shows, and your notifications. You can also see the amount of friends you have, and easily navigate to there pages.
On you’re friends page, you will see everything you see on your own page plus it will show you what you and your friend both watch. This could make a nice talking point next time you talk to them.
Now this is just kind of mind blowing in a way. Soundhound is an app that allows you to hold your phone up to a speaker and it will tell you what song you are listening to now imagine that but with TV, and every single channel on your TV. Not only will it show you what you’re watching but it will tell you what episode it is, what season it is from, and a description of the episode.
Although sometime it will miss the show but that’s only when there is a lot of background noise or the TV is not loud enough.
This app is very interactive with social networking sites as you can easily share what you are watching with Facebook, or Twitter, and you can also search for friends on the app from this your social sites.
Also if you don’t want to share with Twitter or Facebook you can discuss your show with people on the app.
Now the app could be improved and I’m sure it will in the future but it is a very unique and good concept and I hope will catch on more so it is of more use to me and others.
