Yes it’s here!
CyanogenMod 7.1 Stable release has been released and now sporting a 2.3.7 release with support for 68 devices and that includes a whole lot of new ones as well as those Sony Ericsson handsets that have been talked about lately.

According to Cyanogen their are a few more devices that are in the pipeline to be released that include (Pyramid, Doubleshot, Shooter, HP Touchpad, Optimus 3D, several more).

It is also worth mentioning that as Honeycomb source will not be released then the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich source release when out will be merged into CyanogenMod and given the number 9, so maybe no number 8 as that would of been Honeycomb but alas Google never released the source and very unlikely will due to ICS.
