Asustek Computer was originally getting word that their new quad-core tablet would debut on November 9th after making an appearance at AsiaD, but today we are getting a different story. Asustek Computer has pushed back the launch day until early December, while this may seem like bad news when you look at the reason it’s actually very good.
The Asus Transformer Prime was originally rumored to be the first Android 4.0 tablet, then it was said to ship with Honeycomb but now that the launch has been pushed back it may launch with Ice Cream Sandwich. Google reportedly agreed to help the Prime get Android 4.0 running natively on the tablet before release. While we may have to wait longer for the tablet I think the time is worth it to see these powerful beast.
