Over here at land of droid, we usually talk about android powered phones, or tablets. Well, how about car accessories? Innotrends has introduced an Android powered in-dash stereo unit called the Ca-Fi.
The stereo is going to be the size of a car battery, have a 1.2 GHz processor, 6.2-inch 800×480 touchscreen display, DVD player, Bluetooth, USB slot, 2 microSD slots and integrated 3G radios for surfing the web (while driving?) or simply using Google’s Navigation.
For you with 1990 cars or later you may have a problem, Ca-Fi uses the double-DIN slot according to ExtremeTech, isn’t common US automobiles younger than 1990. This will launch in the UK in spring of 2012.
