No this is not another Land of Droid Giveaway, this time it’s real news.
Indian electronics company Onida have now manufactured a 3D TV running on Android and named iTube (I can feel a patent issue here).
Costing between 48,000 INR for a 32 inch and up to 68,990 INR the 3D TV will have access to the Android Market (are you sure?) and come with 700MB internal memory to store those apps on.
Externally, and if you so wish, there is support for an additional 1TB though why you would ever need that much for Android I will never know.
Got your mouth watering yet? Well how about 3 USB ports, Full HD, 2D to 3D conversion and free 3D Glasses too.
Internet connectivity is possible via Wi-Fi as well as Ethernet port. Other features of the TV include 3 USB ports, Full HD, 2D to 3D conversion and 3D glasses.
The iTube range is being released in Tamilnadu, India first and will follow other states later.
